Not really a very long post, but just a note more than anything.

My art has been handicapped for years by a desire (and need) for validation.

Now, I don’t care. Weirdly enough, the pace and freedom of vibe-coding has made it much easier to make stuff for myself, and to truly not care about if the rest of the world even sees it or not, and certainly not about the world’s opinions. This is freedom. I’m finally doing things for myself again, solely to entertain me, which I haven’t really done since I was a child.

Selfishness can be self-love. Too much in this world where martyrdom and sacrifice are praised, people forget this and wonder why they cannot pour from an empty cup. This is what will teach me to be an artist again.
